From Center City Philadelphia
- Take I-76 West, (Schuylkill Expressway), to Exit 339, Route 1 South/City Avenue
- Proceed on Route 1 South for approximately 1 1/2 miles to the intersection of City Avenue
and 54th Street (on left)/Old Lancaster Road (on right)
- Turn right onto Old Lancaster Road
- Proceed on Old Lancaster Road for approximately 2/10 mile to N. Latch's Lane
- Turn left onto N. Latch's Lane (Latch's Lane Condo complex on corner)
- Proceed on N. Latch's Lane for approximately 2 blocks.

From Philadelphia Airport and points Southwest
- Take Interstate 95 North to I-76 West, Schuylkill Expressway.
- Follow directions from I-76 West above.
From Route 1 and points South
- Take Route 1 North, past Route 30 (Lancaster Avenue).
- Turn left at third traffic light after Route 30 onto Merion Rd,
(the Executive House Apartment is on the right)
- Proceed to the 1st stop sign, turn right onto N. Latches Lane,
go 6/10 of a mile, the Foundation on right.

From Delaware and points South
- Take Interstate 95 North to I-476 North
- Take Exit 16A, Route 76 East (Philadelphia) to Exit 339, Route 1 South/City Avenue
- Follow above directions from Center City Philadelphia.
From New York and points Northeast
- Take Interstate 95 (New Jersey Turnpike) South to Exit 6
for Pennsylvania Turnpike (I-276).
- Take PA Turnpike to I-476 SOUTH, Exit 334
- Take I-476 to Exit 16, I-76 East to Philadelphia
- Continue on Route 76 East to Exit 339, Route 1 South/City Avenue.
- Follow directions from Center City Philadelphia above.
From Pennsylvania Turnpike and points Northwest
- From the PA Turnpike, take Exit 326, (Valley Forge), to I-76 East, (Schuylkill Expressway).
- Continue on Route 76 East to Exit 339, Route 1 South/City Avenue.
- Follow directions from Center City Philadelphia above.

- On-site parking is available for $10.00. Parking can be reserved
when purchased in advance. Parking can also be purchased upon arrival but it is limited and available on a first-come,
first-serve basis only.
- The Barnes Foundation is located in a residential neighborhood. Public
street parking is available within two to four blocks from the Foundation.
Please be aware that the Lower Merion Township enforces parking
restrictions in the neighborhood.
- If you have a parking reservation or would like to drop off your passengers, please turn into the driveway. Go past the
front gatehouse and follow the driveway, proceeding around to the stop sign located behind the Gallery building.
- Stop at the guardhouse. Give your confirmation number to the attendant to recieve your reserved parking pass and/or
your admission tickets. If available, unreserved parking may be purchased at this time, by cash only.
- To proceed to the Gallery entrance from the parking lot, please follow the walkway around the rear of the Gallery
building to the front of the entrance.

- Our neighborhood includes private homes, which necessitates particular
arrival procedures. Please inform your shuttle bus driver of the
following instructions. In addition, we request all visitors and bus
drivers respect our neighbors' quiet surroundings.
- Turn into the Barnes Foundation driveway. Stop at the front gatehouse to check-in and then
follow the driveway to the rear of the Gallery building. Follow the signs to the shuttle bus
shelter. Unload passengers at this location.
- Turn right into the Barnes Foundation driveway. Go past the front
gatehouse and follow the driveway to the rear of the Gallery building.

bus shelter. Unload passengers at this location.
- When all passengers have exited the bus, please move the shuttle bus
away from the shuttle bus shelter, so other buses may unload.
Depart the Foundation by driving through the parking lot
and turn left onto Lapsley Lane.
- Return to the Barnes Foundation at the designated pick up time
following the same directions outlined above. Please advise passengers
in advance of the scheduled departure time and request that they are
at the shuttle bus shelter at that time.
