2008 Summer Workshops Class Schedule The Gallery of the Barnes Foundation is the most exciting and stimulating classroom you will ever experience. Surrounded by beautiful ensembles of paintings by great masters, students engage in a study of visual perception, meaning, and interpretation using the principles and fundamental elements of design. The experience guides the student through the process of learning to see as an artist. College Credit Beginning in the fall 2004, students may take courses for college credit or non-credit. Students should consult their college or university to determine if they may transfer college credits approved by the American Council on Education. Classes meet weekly for either one or two semesters. Check the course schedules for the class that interests you. Pennsylvania Act 48 Hours The Barnes Foundation is an Approved Provider through the Pennsylvania Department of Education. Pennsylvania teachers of kindergarten through grade 12 may take courses for Act 48 hours.
