Educators only; $100. Registration required.
Over the course of two days, teachers acquire the tools to help their students use art to meet the new Common Core State Standards. Teachers will learn how to weave arts into and through other content areas to help their students better see how their world connects to what they do in the classroom. Appropriate for K-8 teachers in all subject areas, the Teacher Institute is an opportunity to explore ways of using works in Foundation and the theories of Dr. Barnes to achieve curricular goals.

PA teachers are eligible to earn Act 48 credit for participation in the Barnes Foundation Teacher Institute. Act 48 hours are provided through the sponsorship of the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
