First Friday! Cézanne as Muse

Summer is sizzling with Cézanne at the Barnes! Celebrate our critically acclaimed new exhibition The World Is an Apple: The Still Lifes of Paul Cézanne. With art, cocktails, music, and conversation, First Friday this August is bound to be one big feast for the senses.

Unwind to live performances by Relâche Ensemble and Peter Price as they interpret Cézanne’s still lifes musically. Spice up your evening, and head to the terrace to catch world beats by DJ Hiding Place and DJ Bloodfaceman. Feed your mind with an eye-opening talk on Cézanne's impact on a generation of artists and an archival reading on Dr. Barnes's thoughts about the artist.

Tickets include after-hours access to our general collection and must-see exhibition The World Is an Apple.
