Solo Series Concert: The Modern Violin

Electrifying violinist Pauline Kim Harris presents the next installment of the cutting-edge Solo Series at the Barnes Foundation that redefines the modern violin. The performances includes Spencer Topel’s contemporary masterpiece “Violine,” Bach’s “Chaconne in D minor,” Heinrich Biber’s “Passacaglia,” and Salvatore Sciarrino’s “Six Caprices.”

This concert experience begins at 7:15 pm with an exciting, interactive pre-concert lecture with Dartmouth professor and composer Spencer Topel, during which audiences can learn more about his work and thoughts on “Sound / Art / Space.”
