First Friday! William Glackens opening party: Vaudeville

In celebration of the William Glackens exhibition, we're going on a rip-roaring ride of live entertainment, vaudeville-style. Catch comedy, jazz, tap dancing, and circus performance. Hosted by comedian Maggy Keegan of Figment Theater, with Drew Nugent & the Midnight Society; tap dancer Alexandria “Brinae Ali” Bradley accompanied by percussionist Dendê; and the Philadelphia School of Circus Arts. Plus, enjoy a reading from the archives on the relationship between Glackens and Dr. Barnes. Incudes collection and exhibition access.

Cocktails and light fare available for purchase.
Spirit spotlight: The Last Word. A speakeasy-inspired cocktail believed to have been concocted by a vaudeville performer. Contains gin, chartreuse, Maraschino liqueur, and fresh lime juice.
Light fare: Andouille Po’Boy and beignets dusted with chocolate powdered sugar
