About the Class

With 181 works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir in the collection, the Barnes is the ideal place to learn about this important but often misunderstood artist. Spend time with Renoir’s paintings in the galleries and examine his work in depth. Learn how Renoir’s work relates to the traditions of art and the development of impressionism, and explore the importance of his friendship with Paul Cézanne.
