About the Class

No other artist had a greater impact on 20th-century art than Paul Cézanne. What was it about his work that inspired so many artists of the period and continues to influence painters today?

Held in the Barnes galleries, home to some of the most beautiful Cézannes in the world, this course offers students the opportunity to analyze his paintings up close and to discuss his influences on and relationships with other artists.

Capacity: 18

Note: This class is also offered in September.
