Educators only; $175. Registration required.
Explore different ways artists use and create their learning environments. Meet found-object sculptor Leo Sewell and discover how recycled materials can inspire the artistic process. Investigate the natural environment at the Barnes Arboretum and tour Mark Dion, Judy Pfaff, Fred Wilson: The Order of Things, three installations responding to the unconventional way Dr. Barnes chose to display his collection. Cost includes lunch and education materials.

PA teachers are eligible to earn 15 credit hours of Act 48 credit for participation in the Barnes Foundation Teacher Institute. Act 48 hours are provided through the sponsorship of the Philadelphia Arts in Education Partnership and the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts.
