Getting Here
Located at 20th and the Parkway, in the heart of Philadelphia, the Barnes is easily accessible by car, bike, or public transportation. We offer on-site parking—with charging stations—and bike racks for your convenience.
By Car
Driving
The Barnes is located along the Benjamin Franklin Parkway, just off I-676. Get directions.
Parking
On-site parking is accessible from Pennsylvania Avenue between 20th and 21st Streets. (For GPS directions straight to our parking lot, use this address: 2020 Pennsylvania Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19130)
Visitors: $12 for up to 4 hours; $2 each additional hour
Members: $10 for up to 4 hours; $2 each additional hour
Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. Members must show a membership card to receive their discount rate and can pick up a voucher at our ticketing desks.
Valet parking is suspended until further notice.

By Public Transportation
The Barnes is within walking distance of several public transportation stops, including the SEPTA #7, #32, #33, #38, #48, and #49 bus routes.

By Bike
Coming by bike? Our bike racks are located on Pennsylvania Avenue.
We're also home to an Indego bike share station.
