Artist Bash

Artist Bash: Drivers of Social Change

Artist Bash returns this fall, packing another powerhouse lineup of creative movers and shakers at the forefront of social change. Taking a cue from our contemporary exhibition, Mohamed Bourouissa: Urban Riders, which centers on themes of civic engagement and youth empowerment in marginalized communities, this artist salon-style event brings together musicians, comedians, and poets harnessing art's power to drive social justice and transformation.

Catch an open mic hosted by The Harvest, and watch Jamie Merwin of olive Dance Theatre and DJ Rich Medina premiere a new collaboration celebrating the artistry and activism of Muhammad Ali. The lineup also includes Yellow Rage—a spoken-word duo made up of Michelle Myers and Catzie Vilayphonh—and more.

In partnership with Hilary Beard, iHeartRadio, Onehunted, Philadelphia Asian American Film Festival, and Small But Mighty Arts. Includes after-hours access to the collection and Urban Riders exhibition.

Friday, September 15
8–11 pm 2025 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia, PA 19130 $30; members $15.
