About the Event
Enjoy an evening of art, live music, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer. Tonight’s program includes two sets of music with jazz and soul vocalist Laurin Talese. Her 2016 album, Gorgeous Chaos, was met with wide acclaim, she won the 2018 Sarah Vaughan International Jazz Vocal Competition, and in 2019 she represented the United States as a cultural ambassador with American Music Abroad. She’s performed her original music with the Philadelphia Orchestra and has shared the stage with Gregory Porter, Lalah Hathaway, and Patti LaBelle.
