About the Event
Enjoy an evening of art, live music, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer.
Tonight, jazz vocalist Denise King performs music celebrating the “great ladies of jazz,” including Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone, and Sarah Vaughan. The Philly singer is inspired by the romance and nostalgia of early jazz records and has performed extensively across the globe. During her career, she has shared the stage with jazz legends including Butch Ballard, Arthur Harper, Sam Dougherty, and Cecil Payne.
Calling all designers! In celebration of Alexey Brodovitch: Astonish Me, we’re hosting a special collaboration with the Philadelphia chapter of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA) during First Friday. Learn more.
First Friday at the Barnes includes access to the collection galleries and Alexey Brodovitch: Astonish Me.
Seating is limited. Cocktails and light fare are available for purchase.
