About the Talk

Z. Serena Qiu, a doctoral candidate in the history of art at the University of Pennsylvania, will lead an in-depth discussion about Henri Matisse’s Chinese Casket (Le Coffret chinois).

The talk will be in Room 10. Space is limited due to the small size of this room.

In Focus Gallery Talks are 30-minute lectures held in the collection galleries. Led by PhD candidates in art history, the talks bring an intensive focus to individual works.
