About the Tour

Join us for an exclusive virtual tour focused on Paul Cézanne, an artist who captured Dr. Barnes’s attention early in his collecting career.

Cézanne’s innovative style and practice set the stage for radical changes in the art world in the 20th century. It’s no wonder he is often called the “father of modern art.” Learn how Cézanne defied conventions in paintings such as The Large Bathers and The Card Players and how these works influenced other artists in the Barnes collection, including Matisse, Modigliani, and Picasso.

Registrants will be emailed a link for the talk the day prior.
