Sir Charles Harrison. Enjoying Each and Every Moment (detail), 2025
Free; registration required.
About the Talk
Members are invited to an exclusive talk on the exhibition Where I’m From, featuring curator Bill Perthes, Bernard C. Watson Director of Adult Education at the Barnes.
Where I’m From is an exhibition of original artwork created by justice-impacted artists from Mural Arts Philadelphia’s Rec Crew and artists at State Correctional Institute Phoenix, southeast Pennsylvania’s maximum-security prison for men. The works convey place of origin, express a state of mind, contemplate spirituality, or are reflections on a personal journey.
This talk will take place on-site in the Kean Family Classroom on the lower level. Attendees are invited to view the exhibition in the second-floor classroom of the Collection Gallery after the talk.
