About the Tour
This online tour, led by a specially trained docent, explores Renoir’s love of painting women. His wife, lovers, and friends regularly found their way onto his canvases, and the artist expressed a desire, toward the end of his career, to be judged by these works. In this tour, we’ll look at many of Renoir’s paintings of women and how they represent different ideals of femininity.
Registrants will be emailed a link for the talk the day prior.
