About the Tour

Members are invited to this exclusive online tour of the collection to learn more about the artists in Suzanne Valadon's social and professional circle.

Valadon was a model, muse, and friend to some of the most famous artists in bohemian Montmartre, then the artistic center of Paris. She posed for Pierre Puvis de Chavannes and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. She remained close friends with Edgar Degas, Amedeo Modigliani, and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec throughout their lives. See the collection through Valadon’s eyes, and learn about the artists who were part of her remarkable life.
