About the Project
What is an appropriate monument for the current city of Philadelphia? Join us in welcoming Monument Lab as they ask this question as part of a citywide exhibition produced with Mural Arts Philadelphia.
The Barnes is hosting the Monument Lab field research office, and you are invited to drop in to learn more about Monument Lab, engage with Mural Arts staff, and submit proposals to design or describe your own vision for a monument that represent Philadelphia. Come visit during public office hours and share your monumental ideas.
The Monument Lab field research office at the Barnes Foundation will have the following public hours:
Wednesday, August 2, 5–7pm
Friday, August 4, 5–9pm
Sunday, August 6, 11am–5pm
Wednesday, August 9, 5–7pm
Wednesday, August 16, 5–7pm
