About the Tour

As part of member appreciation days, enjoy a free members-only tour of our special exhibition, Berthe Morisot: Woman Impressionist. Like her colleagues—including Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Claude Monet, and Edgar Degas—artist Berthe Morisot painted scenes of modern life and often worked outdoors. With a sketchlike style that pushed impressionist painting techniques to new limits, she made canvases that blur the distinctions between inside and outside, private and public, finished and unfinished. Find out more about her iconic works and her pioneering role in the impressionist movement.

Fridays in December are member appreciation days! Members enjoy free talks and tours, plus an additional 10% discount (that’s 20% total) when they dine or shop at the Barnes.
