About the Event

It’s the first Sunday of the month, which means free admission at the Barnes! This month, we’re celebrating the 100th anniversary of our founding and the tenth anniversary of our move to the Parkway in Philadelphia. Find highlights of our history in the galleries, enjoy a contemporary gospel performance by John Graves Productions, and learn more with our fun family activities. Plus, explore the collection and our centennial exhibition Modigliani Up Close.

Choir Performance: John Graves Productions

In honor of our centennial and Dr. Albert Barnes’s love of African American choral traditions, we’re presenting an afternoon concert featuring contemporary gospel music by John Graves Productions. The organization’s mission is to inspire and enrich artists and the community through cultural entertainment and the performing arts.
