What’s On

It’s the first Sunday of the month, and we’re excited to offer free access to the Barnes collection as well as to Elijah Pierce’s America. Bring the whole family for an inspiring experience.

Even if you can’t make it to the Barnes, we’re bringing the art right to you—with virtual PECO Free First Sunday Family Day performances and activities on our Twitch channel. Watch live Sunday, November 1, starting at 10am.

Virtual Program, 10 – 10:30am
Barnes educators will host a show and tell about Pierce’s uplifting artwork then read a fun story.

Art and Music
Woodworker and furniture maker Keunho Peter Park will demonstrate woodcarving techniques and play some of the instruments he makes!

On-site activities and performances are postponed until further notice.

See woodworker Keunho Peter Park play his musical creations.

A Safe Visit

Online registration is required for free admission to the Barnes Foundation; tickets are not available on-site. (No registration is necessary for our digital features—just tune in on Sunday.)

We’ve made changes to our procedures to ensure a safe, inspiring experience for all:

  • Timed ticketing is in effect to limit the number of visitors inside the building and help facilitate social distancing. Please arrive no more than five minutes ahead of your scheduled time.
  • All visitors over age of 2 are required to wear a mask or face covering.
  • Coat check will be available; however, to facilitate a contactless experience, guests should avoid bringing large bags. All bags are inspected at entry.
  • Find everything you need to know about your next visit here.
