About the Tour

Each month, Spotlight Tours focus on a different artist or theme, allowing for a deeper dive into specific areas of the collection.

Suzanne Valadon was a model, muse, and friend to some of the most famous artists in bohemian Montmartre, the artistic center of 20th-century Paris. She posed for Pierre Puvis de Chavannes and Pierre-Auguste Renoir. She remained close friends with Edgar Degas, Amedeo Modigliani, and Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec throughout their lives. See the collection through Valadon’s eyes, and learn about the artists who were part of her remarkable life.

Before and after the tour, you’re invited to explore the collection.
