A Space for All

Join us this summer for shade, seating, games, and live music along the Parkway. For this summer's The Oval+—an initiative of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation in partnership with Fairmount Park Conservancy—we're setting up an interactive outdoor installation, the Canopy at the Barnes, designed by SHIFTSPACE. The canopy will float above café-style seating and lounge areas featuring inflatable furniture, both open to all. To further activate the space and welcome visitors to the Parkway, there will be family-friendly games.

We'll also have free live music on Thursday afternoons. Bring a lunch and enjoy performances from the Philadelphia Jazz Project.
