Enjoy an evening of art, live music, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer.
This month features performances by Jordanian vocalist and composer Farah Siraj. Her distinctive fusion of Arabic music with flamenco jazz, bossa nova, and world music features multilingual lyrics that resonate across borders and generations. Siraj has performed at venues including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Lincoln Center, and the United Nations. Her third album, Alam Majnoon, was released in 2024.
Performances at 6:30 and 7:45pm.
First Friday at the Barnes includes access to the collection. Freedom Dreams will be on view in the Roberts Gallery before and after performances.
Seating is limited. Cocktails and light fare are available for purchase.
In the mood for something heartier? The Garden Restaurant is open for dinner during First Friday. Make a reservation between 6 and 8pm.
