2026 Art of Math Challenge
For our 2026 Art of Math Challenge, students from the Philadelphia area used math strategies to create 3D scale models of paintings from the Barnes collection. Working in groups, students collaborated to design and build their model and write a description of the mathematical process. The competition culminated with a display of the models at our STEAM-themed PECO Free First Sunday Family Day on May 3, 2026.
Enjoy this year’s submissions and winners!
