About the Tour
Members are invited to this exclusive online tour exploring the relationship between music and visual arts, one of Dr. Albert Barnes’s interests. The collector often paired recordings with paintings during his classes to give students the opportunity to hear the painting and see the music.
This tour will showcase several paintings accompanied by the classical music and spirituals that Dr. Barnes favored, as well as more modern jazz, rock, and pop music.
