About the Tour

Members are invited to an exclusive online tour on how artists create their works.

Every work in the Barnes collection started as an idea in an artist’s mind. These ideas were nurtured, sketched, and tested before they were brought into the world and received by the public. Albert Barnes bought and displayed art from every stage of the creative process to use as teaching tools for students at the Barnes, many of whom were artists themselves. This tour guides you through the process of creating a work of art and allows you to step into the mind of an artist like Cézanne, Picasso, or Daumier.

Registrants will be emailed a link for the program the day prior.
