About the Event

Enjoy an evening of art, live music, film, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer. This month’s event is presented in partnership with the Philadelphia Latino Arts & Film Festival (PHLAFF), showcasing the extraordinary work of emerging and established Latine/x/a/o filmmakers, musicians, and artists.

Tonight’s program includes two sets of music from Guachinangos. This diverse group fuses Colombian cumbia and Mexican son jarocho with other Latin American musical traditions. The group’s electrifying energy invites audiences of all backgrounds to sing along and dance to the rhythm.

Live music sets: 6:30pm & 8pm

PHLAFF film program: 7:20pm (Comcast NBCUniversal Auditorium)

The event includes access to the first-floor collection galleries.

Seating for the musical performances and film program is limited. Cocktails and light fare are available for purchase.

In the mood for something heartier? The Garden Restaurant is open for dinner during First Friday. Make a reservation for Friday, June 7, between 6 and 8pm.
