A cookie is a small data file that websites can place on your hard drive when you visit. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that tracks the pages you’ve visited within that site.
If you prefer not to receive cookies through the Site, you can set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies and refuse the cookie when your browser alerts you to its presence. The Barnes may use web beacons, also known as action tags, tracer tags, or single-pixel GIFs. These are invisible graphics on a web page or email that is programmed to collect nonpersonally identifiable information about your use of a given website, app or email, such as whether you opened the email. Like cookies, web beacons allow the Barnes and its service providers to summarize overall usage patterns for our analysis and may provide personalized services to you. We do not share or provide personally identifiable information we may collect, such as names or email addresses, through web beacons.
Some of the third parties that collect information about your activities on our Site may be members of organizations or programs that provide you with choices regarding the use of your browsing behavior for purposes of targeted advertising. Mobile app users may opt out of receiving targeted advertising in mobile apps through members of the Digital Advertising Alliance by installing the AppChoices mobile app, available here, and selecting your choices. Please note that we may also work with companies that offer their own opt-out mechanisms and may not participate in the opt-out mechanisms that we linked above.
