About the Art Ball
See and be seen—virtually!—at the Barnes Art Ball, taking place online Friday, October 16, at 6pm. Party for a purpose, and celebrate the power of art to uplift and inspire!
This will be a virtual event unlike any other. Expect a night of:
- Chance encounters and unique pairings
- Dynamic artistic performances that dazzle, surprise, and delight
- Unexpected guest appearances
- Inspiring art that explores themes of love, faith, community, and storytelling—in celebration of our groundbreaking new exhibition Elijah Pierce’s America, featuring the rich and varied sculpture of a self-taught artist whose virtuoso woodcarvings weave a tale of 20th-century America
- And more! All from the comfort and safety of your home
Creative attire encouraged!
BEST OF ALL? IT’S FOR A GOOD CAUSE
The Barnes Art Ball raises critical funds to support the Foundation’s collections and exhibitions, pre-K–12 education, and community programs.

GET READY
We’re serious about “creative” attire, and we leave that for you to interpret. During portions of the program, YOU will be the party. You may be wondering . . . what does that mean? If we told you, it would spoil the surprise! And a night of surprises is what this virtual event like no other is about.
