Today’s workshops combine readings from Munir’s series The Crown Is Yours with music and tap dance to bring the powerful story to life. The motivational book series follows Malik, a young hero navigating challenges that mirror the author’s own path and struggles with learning differences. Performances and Workshops with Khalil Munir

Khalil Munir is an author, educator, tap dancer, and speaker whose work is rooted in resilience and representation. His motivational book series The Crown Is Yours follows Malik, a young protagonist navigating challenges that echo Munir’s own journey. Diagnosed with dyslexia at 14, Munir now shares his story with audiences of all ages, using his artistry and voice to champion self‑confidence and the power of seeing oneself reflected in the world. Through every tap performance, workshop, and page, he reminds readers and audiences that they are worthy, capable, and fully entitled to claim their crown and stand in their power.
