Walter and Leonore Annenberg Court and Terrace
Adjacent to the Collection Gallery, the light-filled Annenberg Court is a versatile space that can be adapted for events of all kinds. The court opens onto an expansive terrace overlooking the lush landscape along the Parkway.

Frances M. Maguire Garden Pavilion
The Maguire Garden Pavilion is an ideal venue for receptions or dinners. With its floor-to-ceiling windows, your guests will enjoy a view of the Barnes Foundation's beautiful parklike setting.

Lower Lobby Suite
Light from the Gallery Garden—an open-air atrium planted with sweet gum, ginkgo trees, and a variety of ferns—bathes the lower-level suite. This cozy, art-filled space is perfect for cocktail parties and intimate banquets.

The restaurant and adjacent garden provide a beautiful setting for dinner parties. With transitional glass walls and an open kitchen, the Garden Restaurant can transform from casual to formal for an easygoing get-together or a black-tie affair. Shaved white truffle served tableside, gueridon-style cheese service, and a choice of cutlery to complement a perfectly aged NY strip steak are just a few of the unexpected touches you’ll enjoy. Meet the Team
Melissa is an arts advocate who brings more than 30 years of experience to the Barnes-Constellation team. She values creating incredible memories for her clients and is committed to providing excellent customer service. Thrilled to be a part of a team that embodies high standards for service and cuisine, Melissa is inspired and motivated by her colleagues and clients every day.
A Philadelphia native, Matt received a BA from La Salle University and an MLA from the University of Pennsylvania. He has more than ten years of experience planning and executing events and programs. Matt enjoys skiing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Rachel brings an ability to manage multiple events with ease and grace. She is excited to provide excellent, thoughtful experiences and service to all clients. Rachel is a multilingual artist, graduate of Temple University, and a Philadelphia resident.
Dawn Van Ness
Dawn comes to the Barnes with over 20 years of hospitality experience. She received her MBA from Babson College and ran an inn in the Berkshires of Massachusetts before working for the largest catering company in that area. She served as the catering manager for Starr Events at the Clark Art Institute in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and was promoted to general manager before relocating to Philadelphia with her husband.
With an impressive list of executive and corporate chef appointments, including stints with Neiman Marcus in Dallas and the Myriad Restaurant Group in Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts, Anita has over 30 years of experience in the culinary arts. She was named “Best Chef Midwest” by Cincinnati Magazine and “Best Chef Cincinnati” twice by Midwest Living, and has published recipes in Bon Appétit, Food & Wine, Southern Living, and more.
Heather seamlessly oversees all catering and event sales at Constellation venues and represents the Constellation brand at high-profile networking events. She holds a BS from SUNY Plattsburgh and an MS from Drexel University, and is an active member of the National Association for Catering and Events, International Live Events Association, and Wedding International Professionals Association.
A Temple University graduate with a degree in business administration and marketing, Katie has been working in the hospitality industry for ten years. She loves bringing her creativity and passion for food, art, and music to her position at the Barnes.
