Noguchi to Asawa: Designing Postwar America brings together six artists—Isamu Noguchi, George Nakashima, Leo Amino, S. Neil Fujita, Kay Sekimachi, and Ruth Asawa—whose work took shape during and after the incarceration of Japanese and Japanese American families in World War II. Their designs went on to define the look and feel of modern America.
