About the Event
Enjoy an evening of art, live music, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer.
This month, we are pleased to feature Philadelphia-based vocal artist Elle.Morris. A performer, producer, and composer, Morris has received recognition from the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, the Pew Center for Arts & Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts. She has recorded with several Grammy-nominated and Grammy-winning artists, including Khemist, Bilal, and, as a member of the TwoCity Chorus, Sam Smith. Morris’s solo work combines classical, jazz, and R&B, exploring themes of love, truth, harmony, and remembrance.
Performances at 6:30pm and 7:45pm.
First Friday at the Barnes includes access to the collection. Freedom Dreams will be on view in the Roberts Gallery before and after performances.
Seating is limited. Cocktails and light fare are available for purchase.
In the mood for something heartier? The Garden Restaurant is open for dinner during First Friday. Make a reservation between 6 and 8pm.
